Questions
Things people ask
What if I'm not in Portland?
The studio visit is the only way we make jeans this good. Measuring in person, seeing how you wear your clothes, and talking about what you want — that's what makes the difference between "almost right" and right. If you're traveling to Portland, build a quick stop into your trip; we'll ship the jeans to you when they're done.
Can I bring some friends to get jeans, too?
Yes! Two purchases is enough to book a group session — bring as many friends as you'd like along. Email hello@dillonmontara.com and we'll take care of it. Snacks and drinks on us.
What if the jeans don't fit when I get them?
Come back. We measured you, we drafted the pattern, we sewed them — if something's off, it's on us to fix. We'll make it right.
What sizes and body types do you fit?
We make jeans for women's bodies of all sizes and proportions. There are no "sizes." Your jeans are made to fit you.
What fabric? Can I pick?
When you visit, we'll show you everything we have in-house — 100% cotton in wide goods and selvedge, plus some comfort-fit stretch denim, all in a range of colors and weights. We encourage 100% cotton over stretch: it lasts much longer without sagging, and the fit problem stretch is solving doesn't exist when the pattern is made for you.
